Replacing worn parts is something that needs to be taken care of like regular maintenance. In order to prevent wear on other moving parts that can be costly to replace.
When you’re out on the trails stock bumpers and fenders just dont cut it. They are bulky, UGLY, and frail when it comes to offroading. After your lift, wheels, and tires did you feel a power loss? With a larger tire on your vehicle, you need a ring and pinion that turns faster to make up for increased tire circumfrence. This is most noticeable by a decrease in your miles per gallon or loss in accecleration. We can solve this common issue by installing the correct gear set for your vehicle's transmission and tire size. Below I have broken down what I recommend for your jeep in regards to the year, motor size, transmission type, and tire size. Keep in mind, the use of your vehicle plays an equal role in gear selection. Please consult with us to verify gear choice because every vehicle is different. 5.13 is the highest gear set in a Dana 44 that we will warranty in a JK, JL, JT. The pinion on 5.38 gear sets is too small for our comfort, especially if you plan on off-roading! We use Yukon Gear and Axle Gear Sets and install kits. Every Gear job comes with a lifetime warranty, no questions asked. This warranty does not cover damage to your axle housing from your own doing.
